About

How can we protect our riversides for future generations?

Circular Route: Coalhouse Fort → Beach of Broken Dreams → Coalhouse Fort

The East Tilbury Primary T100 Young Ambassadors will take us on a guided walk near Coalhouse Fort, sharing their personal stories and connection to the local riverside. Discover why protecting these spaces is vital for future generations. After the walk, the whole school community is invited to enjoy a special presentation of the students’ Coast Cards, made in collaboration with artist Lu Williams – unique, creative artworks that celebrate the Young Ambassadors’ connection to the river with a QR code to three self-guided walking routes.

Access & Accessibility

The walk isn’t accessible for wheelchairs or large pushchairs due to the mixture of made and unmade paths, uneven surfaces and slopes. T100 walks are of different lengths and on varying terrain. Some are mainly on footpaths, and others mainly on footpaths where ground may be uneven. We have designed our programme with accessibility in mind so we hope that there is something for everyone to enjoy. If you would like to discuss this please contact hello@t100festival.co.uk
