About
A micro art residency and exhibition exploring neurological health, recovery, creativity, and the coast.
Local artist Genevieve Rudd, who has lived experience of acquired brain injury, will host a pop-up residency throughout May, leading to a one-day micro exhibition on Friday 23 May. The exhibition will focus on acquired brain injury, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and the relationship between coastal spaces and wellbeing.
Visitors can view new artwork created during the residency and contribute to conversations about the coast and its links to neurological health. The exhibition will take place on dynamic ‘crip time’—flexible and responsive to symptoms.
Part of Creativity & Wellbeing Week 2025 and Action on Brain Injury Week, supported by a small grant from Norfolk County Council Arts Project Fund.
