As part of Blue Wilson's walk around the entire UK coastline in aid of marine conservation, she will be walking from Nedd, Lairg to Aird, Achnasheen, north west Scotland from May 3rd - 10th.
So far Blue has walked 3,337 miles over 190 days and raised £5,044. She walks in stages during her annual leave from work and her challenge is completely self-funded.
If anyone would like to join Blue on this leg for a day, several or just to give her a wave, then her itinerary is as follows:
Saturday 3rd May - start walk from Nedd to Stoer
Sunday 4th May - complete walk Nedd to Stoer
Monday 5th May - Stoer to Badnagyle
Tuesday 6th May - Badnagyle to Culnacraig
Wednesday 7th May - Culnacraig to Ardcharnich (Posties Path or alternative road route)
Thursday 8th May - Ardcharnich to Ardessie
Friday 9th May - Ardessie to Opinan
Saturday 10th May - Opinan to Aird
Blue aims is to set off by 8am and no later than 9am each morning.
At the end of May she plans to return to north west Scotland to continue south from Aird - more details to follow.
Please note: Anyone joining Blue on the walk does so at their own risk, and will need to be properly prepared. There could be some challenging terrain or road walking and very few facilities/opportunities to stop.
